Young people across Barnsley are delivering a summer programme of activities and events after their project ideas won funding through the council's Great Childhoods Ambition programme.

Four projects were awarded funding through Ambition Arena, a scheme delivered by Barnsley CVS that gave young people the chance to pitch ideas for activities and events in their communities.

Throughout the summer, participants will take part in workshops covering script writing, acting, music, costume design, stage production and make up.
