Base71 Youth Zone in Barnsley has won the Sustainability and Social Impact Award at the Yorkshire Property Awards in recognition of its contribution to young people in the area.
The youth facility, built through collaboration between Barnsley Council, OnSide and partner organisations, provides a safe space for young people aged eight to 19 (and up to 25 for those with additional needs) to learn new skills, build confidence and access opportunities.
